Nurse Clinics

Our nurse clinics are led by experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse, Lisa Ralph. The majority of our clinics currently take place at our Horley branch, although clients registered at both Horley and Redhill are very welcome to attend.

Lisa has many years of nursing experience and a particular passion for consulting and client support. With her calm, thoughtful, and compassionate approach, she aims to ensure both you and your pet feel comfortable and supported throughout your visit, while working closely with you to promote your pet’s long-term health, wellbeing, and quality of life.

Nail clip  £25

Dew Claw Nail Clip only — £7

Anal Gland Expression  —  £37.63

Weight Management Clinics  —  £70 for a 5-session package (over 4–5 months)  |  £20 per single session

Many pets who are overweight seem bright and well but carrying extra weight can have a real impact on their comfort, mobility, and long-term health. It can place strain on joints and organs, reduce energy levels, and increase the risk of serious health problems over time such as diabetes and other inflammatory conditions.

Socialisation and Behaviour Clinics  —  £50 for 4 sessions, tailored over an appropriate timeframe

Our Socialisation and Behaviour Clinics are designed to help you better understand your pet’s behaviour, communication, and emotional wellbeing, while supporting them through the challenges they may face as they grow, develop and mature. We know that many behavioural concerns can feel worrying or overwhelming, but early guidance and support can make a real difference to both your pet’s confidence and your relationship together. During these sessions, we can help with common concerns such as fear around travel or vet visits, separation-related behaviours, noise sensitivities, handling worries, fear of nail clipping, or inappropriate toileting behaviours in cats. We can also support you in helping your pet become more comfortable with handling, routine care, and veterinary visits, which can be stressful experiences for many animals. These appointments provide a relaxed and supportive space to talk through any concerns, understand what may be contributing to your pet’s behaviour, and create practical, achievable plans tailored to your individual pet. Whether you’re looking to build confidence, improve everyday routines, prepare for events such as fireworks season, or simply strengthen trust and communication with your pet, our team is here to help support you both.

Puppy & Kitten Development Clinics  —  Complementary with primary puppy & kitten vaccination courses

Our Puppy and Kitten Development Clinics are designed to support you and your new pet through the early stages of life, helping to give them the best possible start. We know that bringing home a new puppy or kitten is exciting, but it can also come with lots of questions as they grow and change. During these appointments, our nursing team will guide you through key stages of development, from early socialisation and settling in, through to the changes you may notice as your pet approaches adolescence. We’ll cover practical areas such as nutrition and feeding, behaviour and training, carrier confidence for cats, and helping your pet become comfortable with handling, routine care, and vet visits. We can also support you with discussions around neutering, ongoing preventive care, dental health, and what to expect as your pet grows. These sessions provide a relaxed space to ask questions, talk through any concerns, and build confidence as a new owner. Early guidance can make a lasting difference, helping your puppy or kitten develop into a healthy, well-adjusted, and happy adult, while making everyday care and future vet visits a more positive experience for you both.

Senior Wellness Clinics  —  £37

Our Senior Wellness Clinics are designed to support older pets as their needs begin to change, helping them stay as comfortable, active, and happy as possible in later life. Many changes we see in older pets - such as slowing down, stiffness, changes in behaviour, or altered eating and drinking habits - are often put down to “just ageing,” but can sometimes indicate underlying health issues that benefit from support or treatment. During these appointments, our nursing team will take the time to assess your pet’s weight, mobility, behaviour, blood pressure and overall wellbeing, while also discussing any subtle changes you may have noticed at home. This might include things like taking longer to get up, hesitating before jumping, sleeping more than usual, or small changes in appetite or thirst - all of which can be easy to overlook but helpful to talk through. We’ll help you understand what’s normal, what’s worth monitoring, and when further investigation may be helpful, offering practical advice and ongoing support tailored to your pet. Regular check-ins can make a meaningful difference, allowing us to pick up concerns earlier and support your pet’s quality of life, so they can continue to enjoy their day-to-day routine for as long as possible.

Dental Clinics  —  £31

Our Dental Checks are designed to help spot early signs of dental disease and keep your pet’s mouth as healthy and comfortable as possible. Dental problems are very common and often develop quietly, with many pets showing few obvious signs despite discomfort. Our nursing team will assess your pet’s teeth and gums, explain what we’re seeing in a clear and reassuring way, and offer practical guidance on home care and next steps where needed. Addressing dental issues early can make a real difference to your pet’s comfort, wellbeing, and long-term health.

Medication Support Clinics  —  £15

Our Medication Support Clinics are designed to help if you’re finding it difficult to give your pet prescribed treatments at home, such as ear or eye medications, or even courses of oral medication. We understand that this can sometimes be stressful for both you and your pet, even when you’re doing your best. During these appointments, our nursing team can demonstrate gentle handling techniques, guide you through the process step by step, and offer practical tips to make administering medication easier and more comfortable. We can also help with giving treatments where needed, providing reassurance and support while your pet is undergoing a course of medication. These sessions are a relaxed, supportive way to build confidence, improve compliance, and help ensure your pet gets the full benefit of their treatment.
