Questions you may have

How long is a vet consultation?

Our standard consultations are 15 minutes, which is usually enough time to examine your pet, discuss your concerns, and create a treatment plan. More complex issues may require a 30‑minute appointment for a more thorough assessment and may have an additional charge.

What should I bring to the appointment?

Please bring any medical history, current medications, and details about your pet’s diet, behaviour, or symptoms.

What if my pet is really nervous at the vets?

Please let us know in advance so we can plan ahead and make the visit as calm as possible. We use fear-free handling techniques, offer treats for food-motivated pets, and tailor our approach to suit how your pet responds best to examination. If your pet is anxious around other animals, we may advise waiting outside or in your car until we’re ready to see you. For particularly nervous pets, we may recommend pre-visit calming supplements or prescription anti-anxiety medication.
